If you are one of those people who do not have enough time to visit the gym in the neighborhood? Then building home gym can be good idea. And working out in your home gym has many other side benefits like you get to be with your family, you save traveling time, your kids too get inspired to work out as kids learn from their parents, etc.

More importantly, the chances of sticking to your fitness regime become easier. Don't worry if you have budget constrained. It is not necessary to buy flashy and expensive equipment. Following things will create a fully equipped home gym for you.

  1. Workout costume: You need comfortable clothing so that you have freedom of movement. It should be not too loose, not too tight.

  2. Space: All you need is 7 feet by 7 feet space. Make sure the room you choose has sufficient natural light and proper ventilation.

  3. Bench: You will be amazed to know how many workouts you can do with the help of a 3 feet long bench.  If you can spare more money, you can get Bench Press that can be inclined and declined. This will help you add more variety to workouts.

  4. Dumbbells: Get and adjustable pair of dumbbells. By adjustable I mean that you should be able to increase/decrease weights.

  5. Barbell: You need not buy a complete set. The weight plates used for dumbbells can be deployed in barbell as well.

  6. Chinning Bar: If you wish to have that dream physique working out at home then chinning bar is something you can’t afford to neglect. Chinning is one such exercise that will immediately improve your muscle mass and help you drop some pounds.

  7. Mirror: Get a full size mirror fitted in such a way that you can see your self working out.

You need not go on buying everything in a one go. If your pocket doesn't permit, buy these items one by one.

Anyway it is not the equipment but your consistency and will power that will make you fit.

So get healthy guys, coz it's your right!
